Michael Kokozos

Michael “Koko” Kokozos, PhD, is an educator with over 20 years of experience teaching across K-16 in Canada, Greece, Turkey, and at institutions like McGill, NYU, and Princeton. Currently, he serves as the Associate Director of Teaching and Learning at the University of Pennsylvania and teaches at the Global Online Academy.

Koko’s commitment to empowering young voices has earned recognition from the Highlights Foundation, Bread & Roses Community Fund, and Learning for Justice. A Fulbright scholar and National Endowment for the Humanities grantee, his work has also been featured by The New York Times. When not teaching or writing, you can find him soaking up the Miami sunshine, marveling at dolphins, or perfecting his handstand on the beach.
