Jack Nosey's creative journey began in music, where he developed a talent for lyrical storytelling through years of performing in hip-hop bands. When he transitioned to writing children’s stories, his rhythmic creativity naturally followed, producing engaging short stories that resonate with young readers.
A chance meeting with Julia Donaldson at Steyning Bookstore became Jack’s “lightning bolt” moment, inspiring him to pursue writing full-time. Encouraged by Julia and her husband Malcolm, he turned his passion into purpose, crafting stories that are fun to read, exciting to listen to whilst regularly addressing important topics like anxiety, fear, bullying and environmental awareness.
Living near the enchanting woodlands of Kenley, Surrey, Jack often finds inspiration during walks with his Labradoodle, Luna. He is frequently spotted perched on an old oak tree branch, scribbling away in his notepad.
His favourite food is gingerbread and he loves watching Wallace & Gromitt and Mr Benn!
With around 40 stories already written, look out for plenty more books to collect from Jack Nosey such as 'The Crocolog', 'Yippee the Bunny' and 'The Lost Little Lighthouse'.
