Joy Torbett, DPT, OCS, CSCS is a physical therapist, professor, and author with more than 25 years of clinical experience. She is the founder of Move & Go Physio, a performance physical therapy practice in Bend, Oregon, where she helps people move with greater strength, confidence, and resilience.
With a background in biopsychology, Dr. Torbett integrates the mind–body connection into her clinical work, emphasizing movement as a powerful tool for physical and mental well-being. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based care, compassion, and the biopsychosocial model.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Torbett serves as part-time faculty at Oregon State University–Cascades, teaching physical therapy and kinesiology. She is also a devoted mother of two daughters and a passionate advocate for lifelong movement, mental health, and helping families stay active and connected.
