Sue Plunkett Thomas

Hey, lovely readers, welcome to my Author page.

I have always wanted to become a writer, ever since winning a competition at school. I was a rather skinny little thing, having had Tuberculosis at the age of 5 years old.

. I loved drama, and at 36 years old, I became a professional actress, performing in the West End. I've also appeared in three British Films and appeared on The Only Way Is Essex and Psychic today

.

Writing for me is my escape. I wish to bring Magical characters to life for little ones so they may be uplifted, as I was, thanks to my mother and mainly my beloved form teacher, Mr Atkins, who encouraged my talents at the Drama Centre and in class.

.

My most precious books as a child were The Faraway Tree and Narnia. I used to spend many hours inside the wardrobe as a child, looking for that Magical Land, which I truly believed it was there!

Please feel free to follow me,, Farida the fairy was inspired by my mother, Farida Farr, whose hair never stayed flat. She was a great comedy performer, always writing ditties and singing in old people's homes and appeared on BGT in her eighties.

My daughter is also an Author and actress, and I have nine grandchildren.
