Renowned photographer Jaime Lopez’s career has been defined by the principle that “art imitates life.” His work reflects his artistic evolution and global experiences. Born in Peru, a country rich in culture and landscapes, Jaime’s early environment deeply influenced his creative path.

In 1980, Jaime moved to New York City to study graphic design, where he immersed himself in the vibrant art scene. After working as an assistant to top fashion photographers, his unique vision launched a successful career in fashion photography, taking him to Italy and Spain. His work appeared in major publications like Elle, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan.

In 2000, Jaime settled in the Hamptons, drawn by its artistic legacy, he embarked on his latest project, Light, Sand, and Sea, a book of portraits capturing the creative community of the East End. Through these intimate images, Jaime pays tribute to the artists that continue to inspire him.
