Christopher Connolly works with elite performers, leaders and teams to enhance their performance.
In the early stages of his career he pioneered applied sports psychology working with numerous national sports associations, Premiership football clubs, Olympic teams in the UK and Europe, and with professional sports teams in the United States.
He transferred this performance expertise to the business community and is widely recognised as an expert in Team Development, Leadership and Executive Coaching. He has also led research and development projects with the UK Sport coaching staff and the Royal College of Music.
Christopher has co-authored a number of books and recently completed a research project that identified the characteristics of expert performers across music, sport and business that enabled them to make repeated, successful career transitions to leadership in their field. His latest book, Transition Expertise and Identity, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2024.
