Sandra Medeira is a Portuguese poet, writer, translator, and fashion designer. Holding a Master’s degree in Translation from the University of Bristol and a degree in Sociology from ISCTE, she develops a sensitive and contemplative body of work inspired by nature, travel, and encounters between cultures.
Her writing explores contemporary lyrical poetry with influences from Japanese aesthetics and poetry, through an intimate, evocative language marked by the musicality of emotions.
She is the author of Coração Selvagem, From Far Waters, Plasticity, and Obsession. Her work explores themes of longing, desire, memory, displacement, and inner transformation through a poetic and sensorial atmosphere.
