Mum of four, two sons and two daughters. Grandmother of nine, five granddaughters and four grandsons. I live in the vast beauty of Western Australia with all of my family close by.

Born in England, but from the age of four I grew up on a remote Australian outback sheep station, before my parents moved to Central Africa when I was twelve.

Since then I have lived in many different countries, before settling back in Australia in 1990.

As a small child, before I could write, I would sing the poetry I composed so I could remember it. Once I had mastered writing things down, my stories began and I have written almost daily ever since. I won my first poetry competition for under twelves aged eight, many more wins, with competition places and commendations followed over the years.

My fulfilling career as a public servant ended a few years ago. Now retired, I live very close to the beach. My other passion (the first being writing) is knitting. On Thursdays you will find me in my happy place, sipping coffee, catching up with friends to knit, crochet and chat. Our weekly meetings are filled to the brim with laughter and friendship. We meet in a cafe right on the edge of the sparkling Indian Ocean.
