John Michelmore

I was born, raised, and partially educated in a small country town in Northern New South Wales, Australia. During a holiday with my parents, I discovered my first science fiction book, "The Day the Machines Stopped" by Christopher Anvil, in a bargain bin at Kmart. From that moment, I was captivated. Books and the creation of futuristic worlds have since become a constant in my life. Years later, I moved to Sydney for work and further education, and I have remained here ever since. Although writing has never been my full-time career, it has always been a cherished hobby that I revisit whenever my professional career as an R&D engineer and business analyst, along with family commitments, allow.
