Siddhartha Mukherjee

Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee has a B.Tech. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. He has worked in key positions in two reputed engineering companies in India: Air Liquide Engineering & Construction, New Delhi formerly known as Lurgi India Company Private Limited), and Development Consultants Ltd., Kolkata.

He has extensive experience of more than three decades in the design, engineering, pre-commissioning and commissioning of refineries and petrochemical plants and in general process engineering while working on several projects during his career. In addition, he has knowledge in gasification technologies including the complete gasification block for the synthesis of downstream products. He also worked on several international assignments in the area of oil, gas and chemicals.

Dr. Mukherjee is a Life Fellow of the Institute of Engineers (India) and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has published several articles in national and international journals and has delivered many invited lectures at various universities and institutions. He is listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering (2006-2007). He has also been an Air Liquide Group International Expert.
