Cathy Warshaw

Cathy Warshaw is an award-winning storyteller, mystery author, songwriter, and certified teen empowerment coach whose work invites young readers into heart-pounding adventures filled with courage, friendship, and purpose. At 74 years young, she launched a bold second act with her eight-book global mystery series *Secret Societies and the Sisterhood Sleuths*, spanning California, Israel, Switzerland, Italy, France, Ireland, Iceland, and Japan. Her novels blend mystery, suspense, cultural insight, puzzles, and codes with emotional depth—empowering teens to think critically, trust themselves, and choose courage over fear.

Beyond storytelling, Cathy created the Sisterhood Sleuths Outreach Program, a free global initiative for schools, libraries, and youth organizations that combines SEL, STEM-adjacent puzzle-solving, and creative writing to build resilience, leadership, and empathy. Through books, music, curriculum, and transmedia experiences, she has built a franchise rooted in empowerment and imagination.

Cathy lives in Upland, California, with her husband Brian and their dogs, Charlie and Bailey.
