Joanna Raabsmith

Joanna Raabsmith is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR practitioner, Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (APSATS), Clinical Partner Trauma Therapist (IITAP), and Board Certified Coach (BCC). She holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and brings over a decade of experience helping individuals and couples heal from betrayal trauma, relational rupture, and emotional disconnection. As co-leader of The Raabsmith Team, Joanna integrates therapeutic excellence with a compassionate, faith-informed approach to support deep and lasting transformation.

Informed by both clinical training and her own journey of reconciliation after betrayal, Joanna co-created The Intimacy Pyramid™, a practical framework for rebuilding trust, emotional safety, and authentic intimacy. She is the co-author of Building True Intimacy (2023), an accessible guide for couples seeking to move from pain and survival toward connection and growth. Whether through coaching, writing, or speaking, Joanna is passionate about helping couples rediscover what’s possible when healing is pursued with courage, grace, and vulnerability.
