Gerhard van der Linde

Gerhard van der Linde is a science fiction, historical fiction, and fantasy writer who explores themes such as Afrifuturism, time travel, catastrophism, ancient cultures, and supernatural influences on human society. In addition to speculative fiction, Gerhard also writes comedy and humorous poetry, balancing imaginative narratives with a playful, often dark, touch.

Works include Bellyflop into the Pool of History, Lawyers are Wizards: Traveler’s Edition, and Ligdraer’s Rebellion, all published through Bedrockhaven Publishing. Gerhard is also the sole member and owner of Bedrockhaven Publishing, a company focused on publishing works by unknown self-publishing authors.

Gerhard is interested in sci-fi interiors and prepper bunkers and works as an architect when he is not writing. He has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of the Free State in South Africa and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with his family and a dog.
