David Redmon

David Redmon the son of a farmer, was born in the midwestern United States. He has had a love of art from childhood yet has only 1 semester of art training in his life. However he is an oil painter, sculptor, and writer. David is a veteran of two wars and spent 8 years in Afghanistan as a private security contractor. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2005. David has published 3 books on the middle east. Two concerning the war in Iraq during 2004, and one photo essay of the years in Afghanistan. David has also illustrated childrens book written by the author Debra Brown.

David currently resides on the east coast of the United States with his wife Jessica and his 3 dogs.
