Christie Motz

Christie Motz is a former kindergarten teacher, wife and mother to three amazing children. When she was a little girl, she loved to write and even got to meet her favorite author, Ann M. Martin, and knew that someday she too would write books for millions of readers. She chose to pursue Early Childhood Education in college and found her other passion, teaching young children. She was lucky enough to teach kindergarten for nine years before staying home to be a mom full time. In 2022, she lost her father to brain cancer and decided to combine her passion for both writing and teaching and created her first children's book, Snook in a Book, based off of her experiences in the classroom. The thing Christie loves to do the most with her book is share it with young readers in schools!
