Terri Batts

Terri Batts is a passionate successful first generation homeschool parent. Even married as a teenager Terri refused to accept that she was powerless over being forced to send her children to a failing public school system. Terri, an excellent student herself with a special penchant for English and grammar, thrived not only in high school and college but has continued as an adult to seek out new challenges from flying to book-writing. Terri diligently worked with her husband to develop the foundation of her children's formal studies and undertake the task of administering each child's personal growth and education. Before committing herself to being an educator, Terri's work outside the home was in the medical industry as an emergency room medical transcriptionist and as a medical assistant performing autopsies. She enjoys continuing her adventures with her high school sweetheart and husband of 38 years as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren.
