Susan Harbourt

Susan Harbourt writes cozy mysteries and midlife romances inspired by her travels and life as keeper of a historic 1869 lighthouse on Lake Superior. She and her husband spontaneously bought the lighthouse and are restoring it while raising their family on Michigan's stunning Keweenaw Peninsula.

Susan draws inspiration from the lighthouse's storied past and her travels across England, Italy, and Greece. She writes from her porch swing overlooking the lighthouse tower and Lake Superior's endless waters, where bald eagles soar and the Northern Lights dance across winter skies.

When not writing, she creates award-winning jewelry from stones she finds and polishes herself along Superior's shores.
