James A. Barham

James A. Barham was born in 1952 in Dallas, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree in Classics in 1972 from the University of Texas at Austin, his master's in the History of Science in 1976 from Harvard University, and his PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science in 2011 from the University of Notre Dame (Indiana). He has lived for extended periods in France, Greece, and the former Yugoslavia (Serbia), but his modern Greek and his Serbian are getting rusty.
