Lynda Arnold, registered nurse turned talent manager and verified author has had one of the most interesting and eclectic lives one could live. She has had the absolute privilege of raising 6 adopted children and fostering others as well as one biological son. Her multicultural family was cool long before it was the politically correct thing to do! While this may not seem so extraordinary, what is special is that :Lynda did so while battling and thriving with an AIDS diagnosis despite contracting the HIV virus as a young graduate hospital nurse in the Intensive Care Unit in 1992. Her journey has been far from easy, her children know the personal struggles just as she knows theirs. Together, with her ex husband Tony Arnold they pieced together a life full of love, laughter, opportunity. faith and hope despite many, many dark days.
Writing has become a cathartic outlet for Lynda. Her mother, an English teacher, always was ready with the corrective red pen and that spurred her own to do her best with each entry . Her children's books were created early on to benefit the AIDS and Adoption foundations while she was a public figure campaigning for safer needles in the workplace. Her return to writing is also a reflection back to her mother who fantasized about writing romance novels with her fantasy romance series " The Willow Creek Mysteries" holding that personal acknowledgement .
Lynda also desires to write about things she finds socially relevant like the fentanyl crisis, sex trafficking, trauma and anxiety, and yes eventually some sort of nod to her talent management work!
Please grab a coffee, a nice glass of wine or a can of diet coke, a nice comfy blanket, and settle in to enjoy Lynda's work. If you are reading on the go- even better her books are easy to digest, put down and pick up later and not feel lost. A master storyteller in person or on paper, whether your pleasure is fiction or non, you are ALWAYS WEL:COME...in Lynda Arnold's world!
