Kelly Poulin

Hello, my name is Kelly Poulin. I started my writing journey about 20 years ago when I took a creative writing class in college.

I fell in love with writing stories for children, stories full of imagination and creativity. Once I became a mom, I started looking at the world through the eyes of my three amazing kids. Stories started pouring out of me as my kids gave me idea after idea through their wild and somewhat unusual imagination.

Writing has become such an important part of my life and a way to share some laughter and love with my readers.​ I live in Michigan with my husband, three kids, 50 chickens, two cats and a dog as well as anything else my kids find outside to put into our aquarium. To say we are animal people is a bit of an understatement. Several of my stories and blog posts are inspired by our crazy life out in the country.
