A sinner saved by the abounding grace of God aspiring to write clean and gripping Christian fantasy from a Reformed perspective. Being a chronic daydreamer, she's always getting trapped and tangled up in the fantastical worlds of books, movies, and series. Other noteworthy loves include caffeine, salty snacks, and good humor.

Steyn has recently published her debut novel, ' The Battle of Euangelion: Reborn' as the first installment of her YA epic fantasy series. It contains lots of cozy themes from timeless favorites such as The Chronicles of Narnia and is filled with Christian allegory from beginning to end to illustrate the trials, struggles, and growth of believers as they journey toward the Promised Land through exciting adventures and nerve-wracking quests. The main aim of the series is to flush out the overarching theme of Christ’s redemptive work while also honing in on the tension between sin and righteousness in believers' lives. Notwithstanding the importance of the underlying message, the content itself is packed with action, mystery, conflict, emotion, and humor and can be enjoyed in its own right.
