Kerry Ferguson

Kerry Ferguson writes stories for young audiences on the page and for the stage. A decades-long adjunct professor of Theatre at Wofford College in South Carolina, she spends her days bouncing between the calm of writing and the chaos of business and being a mom. Along with a half dozen others, her most recent plays THE MISSING MOON and D is for DANCE PARTY! have thrilled young audiences. Her short play for adults, THERE ARE SUCH THINGS, can be found in EVIL GENIUS — Monsters on Stage, Monologues and One-Acts for Audition and Performance, edited by Michael B. Dixon.

A graduate/postgraduate of Washington University in St. Louis, she is an active member at The Writing Barn and The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. The magic of childhood inspires all of her writing.

🐠FISH FRIENDS FOREVER🐠 is her debut picture book.
