Gagandeep Issar

Gagandeep is a seasoned project professional with a passion for enhancing the competitiveness and productivity of capital projects in process industries. Over his career, he has held leadership roles in project services, construction management, and cost engineering across renowned organizations, including LNG Canada, Gray Construction, Paper Excellence, Enerflex, Nalco Chemicals, Shell Canada, Indian Oil Corporation, Syncrude Canada, and Jacobs Engineering.

A firm believer in the power of rigorous research and analysis, Gagandeep applies structured methodologies to guide strategic investment and operational decisions. As a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, an opt-in research community of business professionals, he gets an opportunity to weigh in on current business topics and issues and share in research findings, previews of new content and future product developments. His insights have been featured in international oil and gas conferences and in-house management publications.

Gagandeep serves on the Board of Trustees for Sikh Society Calgary, the oldest Sikh institution in Alberta, and is the founder of a boutique management consulting firm, Gurnoor Inc., which specializes in providing a holistic continuum of strategy, execution support, and training as needed.

Gagandeep is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geologists of Alberta. He earned his MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and has completed advanced project management certification from Stanford University.
