I traded my paycheck for a pitchfork.

I used to believe progress came from moving fast - chasing goals, filling passports, leading big teams, solving bigger problems, and negotiating bigger deals.

Forty years in corporate roles taught me a lot about complexity, pressure, and the cost of not slowing down.

And then… I bought a horse farm.

Not as a midlife crisis. As a reset. A rebalancing. A reminder that leadership is not just strategy decks and KPIs - it is also about muck boots, listening, and knowing when to close the gate before the chaos gallops out.

And you have not truly negotiated until you have tried getting a 1,200-pound horse to walk past a puddle.

What I did not expect was that clarity would show up later.

…Not as a brand.

…Not as a business.

…But as an honest attempt to make sense of a life spent growing through insecurity, learning empathy the hard way, and trying to lead with fairness even when I felt uncertain myself.

Today, I write and mentor from a simpler place.
