John T. Adney

John T. Adney is retired after 40 some years of practicing tax

law in Washington, D.C., having helped expand the Internal

Revenue Code and otherwise caused trouble for the country.

Fortunately for the reader, this novel has little to do with law

and lawyers and absolutely nothing to do with taxes. Mr. Adney

is married (see the dedication), has two sons and one grand

son, and lives in Bonita Springs, Florida, most of the year and

in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the remainder of the year. He is

a graduate of Millikin University (Decatur, Illinois) and the

Yale Law School, and is a member of the First Presbyterian

Church of Bonita Springs, Florida, where he is allowed to sing

in the Chancel Choir from time to time
