Richard Broughton

Dr Richard K Broughton is an ecologist with over 25 years of extensive research experience with the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH), particularly on birds, mammals, farmland, hedgerows and woodland. Richard is the current Editor-in-Chief of the journal 'Bird Study' and a widely published authority on woodland birds and habitats, particularly Marsh Tits, Willow Tits, Wood Warblers, ancient woodland and natural colonisation. Richard's long-term studies predominantly focus on Monks Wood in Britain and the iconic Białowieża Forest in Poland.
