Steven Lesk M.D.

I am a retired, board certified psychiatrist for the past forty years and a lifetime member of the American Psychiatric Association. I have been chairman of a psychiatry department at a VA hospital in Brooklyn, NY while teaching as assistant professor at the affiliated medical school. Over the years I’ve mentored hundreds of students and toiled in various treatment settings. Both of my works attempt to mitigate misunderstanding while substituting insights heretofore blurred. I’ve published a short story and won a 7th and 8th place in a large writing contest.
