Martha Walker Newman

Raised near the gulf coast of Florida, Martha Walker Newman moved to north Alabama with her husband nearly 40 years ago. Together, while her husband worked as a firefighter, they partnered in children’s ministry. Upon leaving children’s ministry, Martha returned to college earning a degree Summa Cum Laude in Christian Ministry with an Emphasis in Biblical Studies. She now teaches ladies in Bible Skills and basic Bible knowledge.

Martha enjoys family time, writing, teaching, reading, nature and her “Little Group of Ladies Bible Study.” Martha and her husband of 41 years are the parents of two adult children and grandparents of four. They live on 9 acres of mountainous land that hosts deer, raccoons, possums, wild turkey, and the occasional armadillo, which is a continuous source of joy and praise to our God, the creator.
