Meghan Heather

Meghan has long been drawn to noticing and working with cycles. From her practice of acupuncture to 13 years of birth work and now as a Hakomi practitioner, she continues to engage the interplay between the sensorial body and the natural world that shapes it.

After walking in circles around a lake for several years, the ideal of a circular diary emerged. Why had we carved up time into square boxes and straight lines when rarely are they reflected in nature? This uniquely illustrated diary circles time around the dark moon, returning Time to its natural habitat: cyclical, seasonal and lunar. The user is invited to track any other cycle they'd like alongside the ever changing moon: food, mood, dreams, periods, pregnancy - with plenty of open space for daily journaling, drawing, doodling, dreaming.

Meghan live on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest in a multi-generational multi-species household.
