Dr. Pamela June

Dr. Pamela June is a self-made creative writer. Throughout her life, she has engaged in short, entertaining, honest, and intriguing written word. Others often solicited her to wordsmith their documents. Her style would have a warm, sincere, and often poetic output. She always enjoyed finding the right word(s) that would both inspire and amuse.

Dr. Pamela June obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, Washington, DC with a focus on child and adolescent psychology. She spent much of her 35 years as a psychologist working with children in schools, hospitals, and private practice. Her first children’s book, “James Goes Fast”, was inspired by her two wonderful sons and her reflections on the joys and woes of parenting. She has taken much pride and joy in raising two young men who are kind, courageous and true to themselves.

Dr. Pamela June hopes the stories will remind children that despite the woes that are inevitable, there are many joys to be had if we embrace all life has to offer. Her goal is for young readers to find her stories engaging and entertaining so that they develop a love for reading and a zeal for life. And as adults, if we look through the eyes of a child, we may see the simplicity and excitement of finding delight in the everyday aspects of life.
