As an adult I became a teacher I spent my career teaching in country towns and in the city of Perth. I taught classes from Pre-Primary to Year 7. My most memorable was two years in a Pre-Primary unit where I enjoyed enthusing the five year olds with rhyming and story telling.

Retirement at 65 left me with a lot of hours on my hands. My partner suggested I write as I loved scribbling rhymes and jokes. I wrote four Children’s books all related to crocodiles and rhyming. These were fun to write. I soon found I was interested in Ancestry. My partner and her mother knew so little about their family so that’s where I began.

My latest book is a change in direction and is an historical fiction/reference text. It has taken hours of exhausting research.

I hope you get as much out of my writing as I get out of writing for you……oh what fun and intrigue.
