James Pace

James Pace has always had a passion for helping children learn, a calling that led him to earn a master's degree in special education from Florida State University. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he moved to Vero Beach, Florida, at the age of seven before later serving in the U.S. Navy. Today, James lives in Tallahassee, Florida, where he works as a construction contractor.

When he isn't writing, James enjoys spending time outdoors or woodworking in his shop with his son, Michael. He and his wife, Lisa, share their home with two dogs and two cats and are the proud parents of three independent adult daughters.

America's 250th HAGS Champion is the first book in James's SquatchVerse™ Series, inviting young readers on imaginative adventures filled with mystery, discovery, and unforgettable characters.
