Amber Bryant is the co-founder of The Forest School, a groundbreaking PreK-12 self-directed learning community in Trilith, Georgia, and The Institute for Self-Directed Learning, a hub for research and collaboration on innovative, learner-driven education. With nearly two decades of experience in education, Amber has dedicated her career to empowering students to take ownership of their learning while supporting educators in reimagining their teaching practices.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in Human and Environmental Sciences from Georgia Southern University and is Montessori certified, bringing a unique blend of traditional and progressive methodologies to her work. She lives in South Atlanta with her husband and daughter, where she continues to champion the power of self-directed learning.
