C.B. O’Malley, a lifelong New Englander, shares her home with a variety of furry and four-legged friends: two horses, two dogs, and two cats. Her childhood was filled with love for all animals, artistic expression, and a deep fascination with the strange and unexplained. Her dream of a life intertwined with animals and creativity eventually became a reality. However, this path was not without its challenges. A persistent battle with anxiety and depression cast a long shadow over her journey, leaving her questioning her own worth. Through perseverance and the therapeutic outlet of writing, O’Malley found a way to transform her struggles into something meaningful.

Give Me Mercy, her debut novel, marks the beginning of her writing career and serves as a beacon of hope for others facing similar battles.
