Jasmin Solfaghari

The Freiburg (Germany) native studied music theater directing with

Götz Friedrich in Hamburg. The director has staged a large

a large repertoire at home and abroad, from baroque to

modernism. As a former professor at the HMT Leipzig,

she is active in teaching and with multilingual lectures

from the USA to China. Her numerous works include

include “Der Ring des Nibelungen” (Odense 2018),

“Tannhäuser” (Cologne Opera 2007), ”Ring in 100 minutes”

(RSB Berlin 2014) and “Parsifal” (2023) by Richard Wagner.

She is the author of the “Opera Guide for Beginners”, “Crash Course Opera”, the “Opera Guide for Beginners”, “Ich schreite kaum...” (Schott).

Jasmin is head of the opera/music theater department at PAMY Mediaproductions.
