Roger Brook

Roger Brook was born in London. After several years of doing not a lot, he settled into a career in IT spanning thirty-five years, which took him to several locations in Europe and the USA. The germ of an idea for a series of historical novels was in incubation for many years before he took early retirement from his final IT position as a software engineer with Rolls Royce. After a further five years of research, the first book of the series ‘The Launching of Scaeva’, was completed. He has two children and now lives in South Gloucestershire with his wife, Carol.
