Amber Benetton

Born and raised in Berlin in 1988, Amber had already been filling blank sheets of paper with her stories in words and pictures since she in elementary school. Initially influenced by classic authors such as Michael Ende and Astrid Lindgren, Japanese pop culture (manga) influenced her in later years.

Being able to go online in the early 2000s, she found people with similar interests and published her first stories and pictures about various series (fan work) on forum sites. Amber realized how nice it is when you can not only live out your fantasy, but share it with other people.

After graduating from high school, Amber's path led her to study special education before completing training in the healthcare sector (and is still working in it) in the mid-2010s. In recent years, she has worked part-time as an exhibitor with self-printed comics and pictures at conventions, offered watercolor workshops and worked as an illustrator and designer for various customers too, to stay creative.

To this day, her fingers have been fiercly moving across the keyboard. Since NaNoWriMo 2015, she has created a few short stories in the New Adult and Coming of Age genre, but it wasn't until 2023 that she dared to publish one: "Kopf, Herz und Mund." (Mind, Heart and Tongue)

Her first novel, “Weil wir noch nicht gehen wollen" (Because we don’t want to leave yet) was published on 22nd November 2024.
