She taught Special Education for several years, championing the potential of every student, and for over 20 years, she ran a successful photography and videography business, capturing life’s most meaningful moments. As a dedicated homeschooling mom, Amy guided her children’s education with the same passion and creativity that she brings to her writing.

She is also an esports commentator and the creator of several family-friendly Discord communities, where she combines her love of gaming and storytelling to build positive, inclusive spaces.
