Wendy Johnston

Wendy Johnston is a passionate educator with over 17 years of experience in early childhood education. Originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia, Wendy earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia, followed by a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and later a second master’s degree with a Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist credential from California State University, Fullerton.

Throughout her career, Wendy has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning. Her favorite part of the school day has always been read-aloud time, where students can be carried away to new places with the help of lovable and silly characters. She is committed to creating a nurturing and creative learning environment where all students can thrive.

Wendy resides in Los Angeles, California, where she continues her work in education while also balancing life as a mama to her daughter, Violet, and to a spirited golden retriever named Millie. She hopes Mags & Millie captures your heart as much as it has hers!
