Jan Cole Bailey

Jan Cole Bailey has lived in 5 states, 29 towns, and 42 different houses. These moves have supplied a vast array of experiences. She has also served 35 years as an elementary teacher, always delighting in the process of sharing literature with developing minds. Watching a child put letters together to form words and read a sentence for the first time brings her joy. Now retired, she is excited to turn her many experiences into stories to inspire learning and wonder in young children. At her home in Southwest Missouri, she enjoys reading, writing, gardening, spending time with her family, and reading to her two grandsons.
