Dr. G.S.Bhalla Bhalla

My name is Dr. G. S. Bhalla. I have served as a Professor (Full), Professor and Dean, and Professor and Head in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India. Prior to this, I served as a Reader (equivalent to Associate Professor) and Lecturer. The total duration of my service in the positions of Professor, Reader, and Lecturer has been more than forty years, spanning from July 14, 1981, to February 21, 2022.

During this period, I had the opportunity to serve as a Member of the Syndicate, a Member of the Senate, and a Member of the Finance Committee of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India. It is a highly prestigious and reputed university in India, ranked among the top universities in the country and accredited by NAAC, India.

During my professional career, I successfully supervised 28 Ph.D. and M.Phil. research scholars. Two more Ph.D. scholars' research work is currently under my supervision. I have around 70 research papers to my credit in national and international journals.

I hold an M.Com. (First Class First) and a Ph.D. (Commerce). I joined this profession by choice at the age of barely twenty years and had a highly satisfying experience in the field.
