Over 25 years, Brendalyn became an expert at telling the Army's story—rising from award-winning writer to Director of Public Affairs at a U.S. Army installation. She coordinated presidential visits, advised senior leaders, and managed crisis communications for a military community of more than 200,000.

Operating in one of the highest visibility roles in federal service, she was "on" constantly, believing she had to perform like an extrovert to succeed.

A health crisis sparked an unshakeable determination to live authentically. She realized countless talented professionals deliver exceptional value that is often overlooked in visibility-driven workplace cultures.
