Misty Douthit

Misty Douthit is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and is the Clinical Director for Focus Mental Health Services in Oklahoma. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Special Education in 1997, she began a teaching career in Special Education, working with children diagnosed with many different disorders and difficulties such as Autism, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

Misty entered the mental health field in 2010. In September of 2024, Misty and Melissa Findley wrote the children's book, "My Mom is a Chameleon," which was published by Pegasus Publishing. They hope to write more books in the future.
