Kendel Brady is an experienced educator and children’s book creator who designs culturally responsive learning resources for young children. She spent over 13 years teaching in international schools across the U.S., Germany, and Thailand, where she developed a deep appreciation for language, culture, and inclusive education.
Now based in the Philippines, Kendel creates picture books, workbooks, and early learning resources that celebrate Filipino culture while supporting literacy, curiosity, and confidence in learners of all ages. Her books are designed to be used gently—one page, one story, or one conversation at a time—at home or in the classroom.
Her growing Filipino Cultural Learning Collection includes Bahay Kubo: Nipa Hut, ABCs of Filipino Culture, My First Filipino Words Workbook, and a Baybayin writing workbook, along with free companion printable activities created to support families and educators.
When she’s not writing or gardening, Kendel continues to create educational resources for teachers and families through her work with Educating Abroad LLC.
