Richard Christiansen

Richard Christiansen is a gardener, writer, and the founder of Flamingo Estate, a brand built around pleasure from Mother Nature. Through Flamingo Estate, he created The Flamingo Fund, which supports people and organizations championing the green world. He is also the founder of Chandelier Creative, the creative agency he built across New York, Los Angeles, and Paris. Raised on a farm in rural Australia, he grew up surrounded by bees, sugarcane, and the stubborn beauty of the natural world. Today, he lives in Los Angeles with his partner, Harvey, and a very opinionated collection of animals. Pleasure Principles: An Almanac from the Garden is his newest book.
