I am a Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. I have written three children's books, originally all inspired by and written for my children. The books have been shared over the years by my five children, my six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A few others have enjoyed them as well. The books were written to encourage kindness, respectfulness and courage. It is my hope that other children can now enjoy my stories as much as my own family members have over the years.

The first of the three books, "The Very Best Little Garden Garter Snake Ever", was written because I have a fear of snakes and I really wanted my children to understand and respect nature, especially snakes, rather than be afraid.
The second, "Papa's House in The Country", was inspired by my three youngest children, ages six, eight and eleven at the time. They were born in the city and grew to be fond of the city life until we moved back to the country.
The third, "Santa's Christmas Eve", was written during the holidays and proved to be fun for the younger children in the family.
