Eric Mackay

Eric Mackay has spent more than 25 years working at the highest levels of the global music industry, supporting some of the world’s most celebrated songwriters and artists, including Beyoncé, Madonna, George Michael and Led Zeppelin. Alongside his executive career, he has founded multiple music and music-technology ventures focused on helping creators build sustainable, self-directed careers.

Born in Scotland and based in Los Angeles since 2018, Eric writes and speaks about identity, leadership, recovery and the tension between external success and internal alignment. He is the author of the 12 Steps to Success series and host of the 12 Steps to Success Podcast, where he has in-depth conversations with founders, creatives and leaders navigating change, reinvention and the messy middle of growth.

He has travelled extensively, holds a long-standing love of Japan, and is an enthusiastic home baker.
