Shari L Cochran

My name is Shari L. Cochran. I graduated from the University of Michigan Flint in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. My entire life has always consisted of reading and journaling my thoughts. For a long time, I didn’t think it was in me to write stories the public would love. It wasn’t until the pandemic that I decided to take my writing seriously. Whenever I hear music, it makes writing easy for me to jot down my life stories and connect them to fictional characters. Writing, for me, is cathartic and therapeutic. It allows me to release emotions in a way that helps me help others. My life goal is to inspire, motivate, and uplift anyone who has struggled with mental health, bullying, or any facet to be their best self. My new mantra is: Never tilt your crown for anyone!
