Andrew Schmitz

Andrew Schmitz grew up in a Catholic family with a 2-acre homestead, where his father taught him the ins and outs of small-farm life. As an active member of his parish and catechist for six years, Andrew will be donating part of his book sales to help maintain his 100-year-old local Catholic church.

From a young age, he was out in the fields, watering plants, harvesting carrots and potatoes, and feeding the chickens. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience with everything from berries and fruit trees to raising sheep, pigeons, ducks, and chickens. His mother introduced Andrew to herbal medicine. Now, through his books, Andrew shares his love for Christ and the valuable knowledge he's gathered, hoping to inspire others on their spiritual and natural healing journeys.
