Miles McMullan

Miles McMullan is an author, illustrator and conservationist. Originally from Ireland, he has lived almost his entire adult life in the American tropics, most notably in Colombia, where he has worked as a naturalist and bird guide, artist, conservationist, educator and public speaker. His innovative and fun guidebooks have introduced several new features into the world of wildlife field guides, and have been among the most influential of any ornithological books for the tropics. Moreover, they combine completeness and compactness like none before and few since have done. They focus not only on identification, but also on the birds' or animals' natural history and behavior to embrace the full experience of outdoor wildlife watching.
